A letter was given to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and they requested him to invite the Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, to inaugurate the national level meet of the Sh. Veerbhadra Jayanti
Mahotsav. The Jayanti is to be held in New Delhi, on the first Tuesday of Bhadrapad month
(September 03).

The invitation was given by the seers of Belagavi-Hukkeri Sh. Gurushanteshwar Saunsthan Hiremath Sh. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji and the Bagojikopp Hiremath seer Sh. Shivaling Murugharajendra Shivacharya Swamiji in Hubli, Karnataka.

The invite was through the Bengaluru based Veershaiva Lingayat Sangathan Vedike. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi added that, he would try his best to get Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the Sh. Veerbhadreshwar Jayanti Mahotsav. Sh. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji briefed the importance of the upcoming Jayanti.

During the meeting, Pralhad Joshi was felicitated by both the pontiffs. The other officials of
Veershaiva Sangathan Lingayat Vedike who were present included: P. M. Chikmath, B.C.Patil,
Chinayya Chowkimath, S. A. Halemani, B.C. Hiremath, V. S. Salimath, Ajayya Hiremath and others.
