In the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack on innocent tourists, who were killed in cold blood by Pakistani backed terrorists.

India too chose its attacks on terrorist infrastructure across the border. A large number of terrorist sympathisers lost their lives in ' Operation Sindoor'. It was a stern warning to terrorists and their backers.

In the press briefings that followed, one of the military persons briefing was Col. Sofiya Qureshi. She's the daughter-in-law of the Bagewadi family based in Gokak taluk's Kannur, in Belagavi district.

Since the briefings followed, Col. Sufiya's family in Kannur, is being visited by a large number of people from different walks of life. They being political leaders and also seers of various religious mutts in north Karnataka.

Along with other mutts in the region, the 59th seer of Hukkeri Hiremath, Sh. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji, visited the Bagewadi family in Konnur and interacted with the aged Bagewadi couple.

The seers expressed their full support to Col. Sofiya's role in her duty to the country.
